The proceeds had since been able to simplify complexity in sensing networks, revealing previously unnoticed observable facts. Major research activities being carried out in this field includes deployment, localization, synchronization, architecture, middleware, security, designing less power consuming devices, abstractions and higher level algorithms for sensor specific issues. However, WSN designs still exhibits security issues in their applications that are of concern. This paper explains a synopsis of ongoing research activities, various security problems involved in wireless sensor networks and possible solutions.
